The Spirit of Obon
At the annual lantern floating festival, a young girl has brought her homemade lantern to honor her late grandmother. Things take a turn for the worse when she finds herself unable to keep her lantern afloat!
This is a 2D senior thesis film done in ToonBoom Harmony, After Effects, Photoshop, Procreate, and Premiere Pro as part of Chapman University's Animation & VFX program.
